Spring Showcase Frequently Asked Questions. Like, where the free food at?
You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers. Here are some we hear the most:
I love the movies, but what I really want to see are movie stars. Which screenings should I be at?
There’s no shame in stargazing! George and Brad Takei will be at the 6:30pm screening of TO BE TAKEI (April 17), Dan Matthews will be at the 3:35pm screening of AKA DAN (April 19), and Kathy Uyen will be at the 6:00pm screening of HOW TO FIGHT IN SIX INCH HEELS (April 19). And of course, the 18 Mighty Mountain Warriors will be performing live!
I didn’t watch the first Protector film. Will I understand THE PROTECTOR 2?
Do you understand Tony Jaa’s fists? That’s the only backstory you need.
I can’t wait for the happy hour, but since I have a long commute from work, I don’t think I’ll have enough time to finish my wine before my film screening. Can I bring wine into the auditorium?
Um, we can’t officially answer this online. Ask us in person.
Is there free food too?
Yes! 27°C LOAF ROCKS features a free pastry reception courtesy of Pangea. We’ve also got affordable noodle bowls during happy hour, and discounts throughout Hazard Center.
I’m sick of all of this mystery kung fu and playing in hell. Don’t you have any family-friendly films?
Why yes! MISS GRANNY is safe for the kiddies and 27°C LOAF ROCKS is perfect for the entire family.
Can you translate 27°C LOAF ROCKS for me? I have no idea what that means.
Your guess is as good as ours. 81°F LOAF ROCKS?
Will I go to hell if I watch WHY DON’T YOU PLAY IN HELL on Easter Sunday?
No, no. The movie is actually an innocent romp about youthful idealism, committed love between a husband and wife, and working together, even with our enemies. What could be more saintly?
What if I see it on Good Friday?
Yeah, you’re going to hell.
